Oh Snap! We’re Two and We Want To Help You Feed The Fan Fire!

It’s our second anniversary here at Oh Snap Social! Happy anniversary to us!

I know two years doesn’t sound like a long time, but considering that only half of most businesses make it past year five, two years deserves a celebration! (cue dance break). Before we pop the champagne, we thought we would kick off our anniversary by taking you behind the scenes and revealing exactly how we work!

If you’ve been an Oh Snap! client, you’re more than likely familiar with our process. If this is your first time stopping by, let me first say welcome, and introduce you to our Fan Firestarter Framework, our 5-step signature process that we use to catapult our clients’ social media platforms to the next level. We’ve laid out all the steps below, and once you read them, I promise you will understand them faster than you can say “Fan Firestarter Framework™,” five times fast. Let’s check them out!

Oh Snap! Social: Fan FireStarter Framework

Step 1 – Pulse check:

This is our first step in the Fan Firestarter Framework™ because we can’t be useful in finding solutions for your business if we don’t know its vitals. A pulse check allows us to pop the hood on your social media platforms to analyze where you are and where you’re going. It’s a less scary, non-IRS related term for audit.

Step 2— Strategy:

Based on the information we’ve gathered during the pulse check, we will begin to develop a strategy for your brand. This development includes crafting your brand’s voice and tone or fine-tuning the one that exists, identifying your goals, and discussing your content mix to sum it all up. We take all of these things and present them to you in a beautiful, efficient package that’s easy to follow. No matter what size your company is, there is a strategy laid out for you that can be passed on to your team members, which will allow them to have a better understanding of what should happen next. It’s like a social media playbook that contains everything from community management guidelines, social media best practices and more. Everything you need to build a successful social media campaign with measurable results is there.

Step 3— Implementation:

This is the “doing” phase of the framework. See also: The fun part where we make sure your social media content is getting deployed properly, timely and with the right target audience always top of mind. This is where we roll up our sleeves and craft compelling social media content that turns lookie-loos into lifelong fans. During the implementation stage, we create the content for all of your social media platforms and set that work in motion. Consider it done and done!

Step 4: Management:

Now that we’ve implemented everything we’ve outlined in the strategy, the “doing” continues.  What? Did you think we were going to use the “post and pray” method? Of course not! We don’t develop this kick-butt strategy, implement it, and then sit back to see what happens. It has to be maintained. This is where we dive headfirst (snorkel optional) into your social media channels by performing effective community management. Community management involves everything from interacting with comments and making sure we’re responding appropriately, to answering questions or processing requests promptly. Essentially, it’s keeping social media…social!

Step 5 — Analyze:

Ah metrics! The numbers are always fun, aren’t they? After 30 days of strategy, implementation, and management, we drill down the mechanics of the metrics by measuring what matters as it relates to the plan crafted just for your brand. This keeps you from measuring things that well, don’t matter to your brand or align with your goals…I’m looking at you follower count. Often, social media awareness is not the final goal for our clients, and while building a community of engaged followers is helpful, what we’d like to see is how many of those followers turn into actual clients or consumers. We can determine this by measuring the traffic driven to your website or by how much money you’ve made on the product you’re selling, program your launching, or virtual workshop you’re filling. This is why having a good website is essential because it could make all the difference in measuring the effectiveness of your social media. The analytics always informs the strategy and allows you to make smart data-driven decisions for your business.

So that’s it in a nutshell! This is how we work. It is an efficient, cyclical process that helps grow your business in a strategic way. Keep in mind while the framework remains the same, the strategy is always transitioning and changing because social media is continually transitioning and changing. We’re always keeping up with the times in our corner of the internet — it’s our job!

Our clients have to be flexible and realize that their strategy may vary according to how the social media landscape changes. But no matter what kind of business you have, whether you’re a small business, a larger, corporate-level client, or a start-up, the level of engagement with our Fan Firestarter Framework™ may be different, but everyone goes through the same process.

Now that we’ve laid out our signature process for you, it’s time for that champagne, but before we go, we’d love for our next celebration to be with you! So, give us a shout and let’s get to work on putting together a social media strategy that’s going to take your business to new highs! Whadda ya say? Onward and Upward!
